Soonmyung serves as the Program Director of the World Neurology Foundation. He graduated from the Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Public Health Studies, and is an MD/MPH candidate at the Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, with the hopes of going into the field of neurology. He is passionate about serving disadvantaged and underserved populations who are afflicted by neurological conditions. Soonmyung hopes to cultivate all his interests to serve as a neurologist and engage in global health efforts against the burden of neurological disorders, particularly in low-resourced regions.
